ALHAJI ABASS WAZIRI (GROUP CHAIRMAN)
Alhaji Abass Waziri is the Group chairman of Femadec Group. He obtained a B.Sc and M.Sc in Applied Geology and Mining from Texas State University, USA. His wealth of experience is spread across working in government Establishments, the Nigerian army and Customs, also in Civil construction, oil and Gas, mining and general trading. He served in several government committees such as solid minerals reform committee, World Bank-sponsored Mining and Policy Dialogue, Chairman (World Bank Stakeholder Mining Committee), and Director (Africa Commonwealth Miners Association), Member (Miners Association of Nigeria). He is currently serving in the boards of many companies.
Abass Alhaji Waziri for over 18 years has been in the natural resources / Construction industry. He is a strong advocate for value creation of natural Resources and an experience commodity product. He has an extensive global contact in the construction / oil and gas industry and has actively participated in the management of the business. He is the arrowhead of the company in the area of defining visions and strategies, image-making and of the company.
ENGINEER AKINNOLAFOLA (Group MD/CEO)
Graduated from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-lfe in 1990 with a degree in Civil Engineering. He had the mandatory one year National youth service in Portharcourt with the Nigerian Agip Oil Company from 1990 to 1991. After the one year service, he worked first as a site Engineer and then planning Engineer with Chiyoda Nigeria Limited on the EPC project for the Eleme Petrochemicals in Port harcourt, Rivers State from 1991 to 1993.
After leaving Chiyoda in 1993, he worked in Finance House, as analyst for Produce export, Petroleum Products trading before joining Daewoo Engineering and Construction in 1995 as a site Engineer. He rose through the rank becoming Project Engineer, Project Coordinator, Marketing Manager and Executive Director, a position he held until he voluntarily resigned in 2008 to start Femadec Group. He was also acting Managing Director for a brief period during his time in Daewoo.
Some of the highlights of his time in Daewoo included being part of the team in getting Daewoo qualified technically to participate in the Associated Gas Gathering Project on the Cawthorne Channel Project as a Marketing Manager. It was also during his time as Executive Director Marketing that Daewoo secured contracts of USD 2billion with the NNPC/Shell joint venture for Power Projects in AFAM, Gbaran Project as well as the Eastern Gas Gathering Projects. He has attended Management courses with Daewoo both locally and Internationally and is widely travelled. He is a very strong advocate of quality compliance on projects.
Surv. BUKOLAKUNLE (Group General Manager)
Mr. Bukola Kunle is the Operations Manager for Femadec Group. A seasoned surveyor with almost 30 years of experience of works in Construction. He has work experiences in road construction, plant construction, piling works, reclamation works, shore protection etc. He acquired all these work experiences while at Daewoo Nigeria Limited.
ENGR. UCHENNAKENNETH (B.SC, MNSE) (Operations Manager)
Engr Uchenna Keneth is a seasoned Civil Engineer with years of experience in construction and supervision of major engineering projects. He has designed and supervised works for Shell Petroleum Development Company, Rivers State Government, Delta State Government as well as some NDDC projects. He has represented the Nigerian Society of Engineer in a number of national
engineering assignments.
ISAAC OLALERE (B.A) (General Manager Finance/Admin.)
Mr. Isaac Olalere is the finance and administration manager for Femadec Group. A seasoned administrator with considerable years of experience in Finance and Administration in corporate establishments.
ABRAKASSA CLEMENT DOYE (QA/QC/ MECHANICAL ENGINEERING) (Corporate QA/QC Manager)
Mr. Abrakassa Doye is the Quality Assurance / Quality Control for Femadec Group. A graduate from University of Lagos in Mechanical Engineering, he is a well experienced Mechanical Engineer with a lot of work experience in quality control. He He holds a B. Eng and M.sc in Mechanical Engineering from University of Ibadan. He is a well experienced Mechanical Engineer and has provided a lot of mechanical Engineering solutions to a host of clients in the ENGINEERING and CONSTRUCTION industry. He is a registered Member of Nigerian Society of Engineers. He is also a member of International Standard Organisation (ISO).He is a QA/QC expert.
